The rescue suspected that Sky had been kept outside in a backyard, used for breeding, and left to fend for herself. “With her allergies, overgrown nails, and being extremely skinny, it’s clear she spent her days neglected in a backyard,” said a spokesperson from the shelter. “Most likely used for breeding and then tossed aside, Sky deserves so much more.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite her initial fear and hesitation, Sky quickly revealed her sweet nature. The staff gently bathed her and provided nourishing food.
